In my life I have been blessed with a high paying job. However it is a job that says “Hey you can’t see your kids today!” or “Hey you can’t make that baseball game!”.  I work 5 nights a week, 12 hours shifts. My two nights off are Tuesday and Wednesday, school nights for my kids and a work night for my wife so there is no time for vacation/traveling or even a dinner out and a movie.

June 28, 2010 was they day things started to change. My cousin called to see if my wife could come home at lunch because he had something really exciting he wanted to show us.  As soon as my wife got home we wanted to know what was so exciting that had our usually laidback cousin was almost bursting at the seams. He simply walked to our DVD player and pressed play.  Who knew such a typical action was about to completely alter our lives.  It was an FHTM business presentation DVD.  As I was listening I began to realize that even though I made good money I was working my life away at a job I didn’t really like, that kept me away from my family. Now several months later we are well on our way to replacing my six figure income and starting to enjoy life again.
